Federalist Papers No 1

This is actually not the first time I have read from the Federalist Papers – I had a class in undergrad where we read most of the essays included in the compilation.  Much like undergrad, I am following the gist of the intended meaning but find it difficult wading through the language and keeping track of what is most important.

This paper seems to provide an introduction to what every entry will include and discusses bias in politics.  I know that these are a fundamental part of understanding arguments for and against the Constitution of the United States of America.  I keep reminding myself that this was written at a time when the Constitution was a very radical change for the people of this country and that, in a way, these papers are some of the first advertisements for the Constitution.  Heavy but important reading.  Thanks for only choosing one!
